School Committee will discuss space options for F.A. Day Middle School and several elementary schools.

  1. School Committee will hold a special meeting at 8 p.m. in the Frazier Room (Rm. 210) at the Education Center to discuss short-term space options for several schools.
  2. The African Literatures Discussion Group will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Newton Free Library to discuss "Little Bee" by Chris Cleave, a novel that tells the story of a Nigerian refugee and her interaction with English citizens in Africa.
  3. The Board of Aldermen's Public Safety and Transportation Committee will meet at 8 p.m. in City Hall. One topic on the table for discussion includes methods to regulate speed near Auburndale Cove.
  4. Newton North High School girls varsity soccer will take on Wellesley High at home. Kickoff is 4pm.
