- School Committee will hold a special meeting at 8 p.m. in the Frazier Room (Rm. 210) at the Education Center to discuss short-term space options for several schools.
- The African Literatures Discussion Group will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Newton Free Library to discuss "Little Bee" by Chris Cleave, a novel that tells the story of a Nigerian refugee and her interaction with English citizens in Africa.
- The Board of Aldermen's Public Safety and Transportation Committee will meet at 8 p.m. in City Hall. One topic on the table for discussion includes methods to regulate speed near Auburndale Cove.
- Newton North High School girls varsity soccer will take on Wellesley High at home. Kickoff is 4pm.
