Mayor's Annual Community Prayer Breakfast

Along with a number of local officials, community members and religious leaders, Mayor Setti Warren will welcome Boston Mayor Tom Menino to the  on Wed., May 23.

The annual event, which will be held at , aims to bring together community members from all walks of life and religions to support the Foundation for Racial, Ethnic and Religious Harmony

Last month, Warren announced , who founded the breakfast in 1975.

In addition to the breakfast, Warren will also award the annual Community Service Award in Mann's name. This year,  will be the recipient of the award.

According a the press release from Warren's office, Wednesday's prayer breakfast will include a number of special guests and events including: remarks from Joshua Kraft, president of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Boston, musical performances from the  and the Lovetones, scholarship presentations to Newton students from the Newton Rotary Club and a video tribute to Mayor Mann.
