Our neighbors at Brookline Patch are hosting a free coffee day!

- Congregation Mishkan Tefila will host its Wednesday night Beit Midrash with Rabbi Daniel Berman from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The evening will cover many topics, including the meaning of the Jewish year cycle.
- Our friends over at Brookline Patch will host a in Chestnut Hill from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The first 75 customers will get a free cup of joe!
- 's boys' ice hockey team will take on Walpole tonight at 7 p.m. at the Fessenden School Coffin Ice Rink. The girls team will face Walpole at 8:10 p.m. in Walpole.
- The National Weather Service is predicting some snow tomorrow, with a 40 percent chance of light snow during the day and a 70 percent chance of snow showers after 11 p.m. Accumulation overnight is expected to be between one and two inches.
- For those parents out there with children 7 and under, bring them to PlaySPACE at the Newton Cultural Center today. The activity, which runs from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., features play time in the gym with riding toys, trucks, and balls as well as space for climbing, jumping and running. A season-long membership (unlimited visits per family) is $95 for Newton residents and $125 for non-residents. Single-time drop in fees are $10 for residents and $12 for non-residents.
