Storied Newton Clothing Store Is Saying Goodbye This Month
The Pink Domino has been operating in the city since 1991.
NEWTON, MA — A staple women’s clothing store is saying goodbye later this month after more than three decades in downtown Newton Centre.
Pink Domino is officially closing its doors on Sunday, Dec. 14. It first opened at 1280 Centre St. in Piccadilly Square by former owner Wendy Livingston until Marjorie Kaplan purchased the company 12 years ago.
“We had the privilege of seeing generations of families walk through our doors — each with a new story, a new occasion, and a sparkle in their eyes,” the store’s ownership said in a statement. “Every twirl, every smile, and every milestone we’ve helped celebrate has been the heart of this journey.”
