8th Grade Band and Chorus Get The Gold

This week's whiz kids have a lot to be proud of.

Who: 8th Grade Band and Chorus

What makes them so awesome?: On Friday the 8th Grade Band and Chorus performed at the Great East Festival at Palmer High School in Palmer.

Both the chorus (under the direction of Ms. Shannon McCabe) and the band (under the direction of Michael J. Giannopolo) earned Gold Medal Ratings for their performances.

After our performances, the groups spent the afternoon at Six Flags New England in Agawam.
