Chance of Thunderstorms Tuesday Afternoon

The sky is growing darker over Peabody as thunderstorms are headed this way.

According to the National Weather Service, thunderstorms are possible Tuesday afternoon and evening. Heavy rainfall and localized flooding is possible as the storms roll through, the NWS said. 

Although you may hear some loud thunder, there is low risk of the storms becoming severe enough to produce damaging winds.
