The following is an excerpt from the Peabody Police log from Tuesday through Wednesday.
- At 4:51 p.m. Tuesday, a Central Street bank reported a car had been in their parking lot all day. It was later discovered the car belonged to an employee of a nearby business.
- At 5:34 p.m. Tuesday, Julio Toro, 39, 2 Rogers Avenue, Lynn was arrested and charged with driving after license suspension on Lynn Street.
- At 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, Assis Desousa, 21, 9 Elm Street, Peabody, was arrested and charged with driving after license suspension on Central Street.
- At 9:14 p.m. Tuesday a person called police to report her sister tried to choke her. It was later found the juvenile did not try to choke anyone.
- At 1:08 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a fight in the parking lot of the When police arrived, the combative party was being brought back to his hotel room by a friend.
- At 9:35 a.m. Wednesday, police escorted to a woman to her car after she believed she was being followed by a man in a yellow rain coat.
