Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Mass Hosts Match Trivia Event
Quincy High School students bridged decade divides with their volunteer mentors through the Big Futures Mentoring program

On November 20, Quincy High School students bridged decade divides with their volunteer mentors through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts’ (BBBSEM) Big Futures Mentoring program. The one-to-one youth mentoring agency held an intergenerational trivia event at Quincy High School, providing an opportunity for matches to spend quality time together while getting to know one another and their peers in the program.
This school year, BBBSEM launched Big Futures Mentoring at Quincy High School. The new high school mentoring program matches Quincy High School freshmen with adult volunteers who will build mentoring relationships and leverage experiential learning to prepare them for post-secondary success over the course of their high school experience. In its 75th year, the largest Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliate in New England has created and served more than 25,000 matches.
