• Quincy Man Facing Murder Charges (thequincysun.com) — Quincy police are investigating a deadly incident at a Quincy Point apartment where a 26-year-old woman was found deceased and a 34-year-old local man was seriously injured. Prosecutors say the man, identified as Guiovani Garcia of Quincy, is facing murder charges and is expected to be arraigned soon, with more details to follow for concerned residents.
   

• Another top Quincy official arrested. What we know (patriotledger.com) — Quincy’s emergency management director has been placed on unpaid leave following his recent arrest on assault and witness intimidation charges, and a judge has ordered him to stay away from the accuser. City leaders say his future employment will be decided as more facts emerge, while residents also learn he is the third Quincy department head arrested this year, raising broader concerns about oversight at City Hall.
   

• South Shore Food Bank and Interfaith Social Services receive 40,000-pound food donation from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (massnonprofit.org) — Quincy residents relying on Interfaith Social Services’ food pantry will benefit from a massive 40,000‑pound food donation just delivered to the South Shore. The shipment, split between Interfaith in Quincy and the South Shore Food Bank, will help restock shelves serving thousands of local households as demand for groceries and related support continues to surge.
