Quincy Elections: Where, When To Vote
Here's what you need to know about the upcoming elections in Quincy.
QUINCY, MA — The Quincy municipal elections are coming up on Tuesday. It will be a chance for residents to vote for mayor, City Council and School Committee members and other elected candidates. Here's where to vote and who is on the ballot.
Voting is taking place from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The polling location will depend on which ward and precinct a particular resident lives in. The polling locations are the same as in the last election:
Ward 1
- Ward 1, Precinct 1 — Merrymount School, 4 Agawam Road
- Ward 1, Precinct 2 — O'Brien Towers, 73 Bicknell St.
- Ward 1, Precinct 3 — Thomas Crane Library meeting room, 40 Washington St.
- Ward 1, Precinct 4 — Adams Shore Library, Sea Street
- Ward 1, Precinct 5 — Saint Thomas Aquinas Hall, Darrow Street
Ward 2
- Ward 2, Precinct 1 — Fore River Club House, 16 Nevada Road
- Ward 2, Precinct 2 —Senior Citizens Housing, 1000 Southern Artery

Competing for the mayoral seat this election are incumbent Thomas P. Koch and Brenda A. Ryan, who is running in the race for the first time.

For the council-at-large seat, three candidates will be elected. The candidates are Noel T. DiBona, Nina Liang, Anne M. Mahoney, Frank Rubino and Joann M. Sullivan Cantor.
Three candidates will also be chosen for the School Committee, and four candidates are running — Paul L. Bregoli, Kathryn E. Hubley, Courtney C. Perdios and Frank Charles Santoro.

Two candidates are competing for the Ward 1 City Council seat — David F. McCarthy and Joseph C. Murphy.
In Ward 3, Ian Charles Cain is competing against Eriberto Soto for City Council.
For the City Council seat in Ward 5, Stephen M. Christo is competing against Charles J. Phelan Jr.
In another contested race, William P. Harris is challenging William Phillip Isenberg for the Ward 6 City Council seat.
The other City Council seats are not contested. Brad L. Croall is running in Ward 2 and Brian D. Palmucci is running in Ward 4.
City Clerk Nicole L. Crispo said she expects a 30- to 35-percent turnout at Tuesday's election. Absentee ballots will be available until noon on Monday.
