Dear Quincy Public Schools Students, Parents, Guardians and Staff, It is our hope that you and your family had a healthy and restful winter break We are excited to welcome our students back to school on Monday, January 3, 2022. In the last week, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH), and the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE) have updated the guidance regarding COVID-19 case isolation and quarantine. In addition to the updated guidance, DESE has also provided KN95 masks for all staff. The following is a summary of the updated guidance: We continue to encourage staff and students to participate in the Routine Pooled Testing and Test & Stay programs; please follow this link to sign up: . As always, your school nurse is the best resource for understanding the guidance, so please contact your school’s Health Office when you or a member of your household has symptoms.
