Quincy Sets Parking Ban In Preparation For Snow Storm

As residents gear up for Friday's impending winter storm, Quincy officials are declaring a snow emergency.

QUINCY, MA — Snow emergency parking rules will be in place for Quincy residents Thursday night as a winter storm is set to hit the Bay State.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, snow emergency parking rules will go into effect.

Residents may park on the odd-numbered side of non-emergency neighborhood streets.

Town officials say residents should expect their cars to be towed if they are parked on an emergency artery during a declared emergency. Any vehicle impeding snow removal operations on any public street regardless of parking restrictions may be towed.
