On Feb. 15, around 6:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to the area of Taffrail Road in Quincy after receiving reports of shots fired.

When officers got to the scene, they found a man, later identified as Paul, who appeared to have been shot inside a car while driving and drove off before crashing a little further up the road, police said.

Paul was taken to Boston Medical Center where he later died, officials said. An investigation ensued and two weeks later, Harris was placed under arrest in connection to the shooting.

"Harris was due to return to Quincy District Court on June 3, but we hope to schedule his arraignment in Norfolk Superior Court shortly," Morrissey said. "We continue to work cooperatively with local and regional law enforcement to locate Diaz-Romero."
