Gov. Healey In Somerville To Visit New LEGO Discovery Center

SOMERVILLE, MA – Governor Maura Healey will stop in Somerville on Wednesday to attend the LEGO Discovery Center Ribbon Cutting.

Healey is expected to tour the redesigned LEGO site around 10 a.m, according to her office.

The LEGO attraction, located at 598 Assembly Row, first opened in 2014 and underwent a $12 million renovation up until this spring to become LEGO Discovery Center.

Somerville will be Healey's first stop Wednesday. After Somerville, Healey will join Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll to give remarks at the National Military Appreciation Month Reception.
