SOMERVILLE, MA — A Neapolitan pizza place that opened two years ago at Assembly Row has shut down. MidiCi, which opened its first New England location in Somerville in February 2018, was already planning the closure before the coronavirus crisis hit the restaurant industry, Boston Restaurant Talk reported.

The menu was designed by a pair of renowned Neapolitan pizza chefs from Italy and featured authentic drinks and dishes – from artisan burratas and traditional pizzas to craft beers, fine wines and cocktails – to offer a "complete Neapolitan pizza experience."

A rebranding of the space is planned, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. MidiCi was located at 463 Assembly Row.
