Somerville Pizza Shop Helps Bar Reopen
A pub and pizzeria in Davis Square teamed up to open an outdoor patio, allowing the former to operate under current coronavirus rules.
SOMERVILLE, MA — A Somerville bar is now open with the help of a nearby pizzeria. Davis Square's Sligo Pub and Dragon Pizza have teamed up on an outdoor patio, allowing the bar to operate, as food is now being served, Boston Restaurant Talk reported.
The patio is open Tuesday through Saturday starting at 6 p.m. Sligo does not have a kitchen, which likely would have kept it closed until Phase 4, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. Similar collaborations have been cropping up in the area at bars that traditionally did not serve food.
The addresses for Sligo Pub and Dragon Pizza are 237 Elm St. and 233 Elm St., respectively.
