SUDBURY, MA — A Sudbury-based foundation that provides grants to social service nonprofits in the area has awarded the town with over $100,000 for a variety of efforts.

The Sudbury Foundation periodically distributes grants to local organizations, particularly those focused on food insecurity and issues affecting children and families. The new round of grants will support town efforts like the Goodnow Library and local youth soccer, plus organizations outside Sudbury, like Wayland-based Aurelia’s Garden food program.

"The Sudbury Foundation is proud to fund and partner with these impressive organizations. This first round of grants for 2023 provides broad support for nonprofits based in Sudbury, the Town of Sudbury, as well as targeted support for local hunger relief organizations," Sudbury Foundation Executive Director Sonia Shah said in a news release.
