Barn Bash Will Benefit Sudbury for Wounded Warriors

Tickets are available now for the June event.

Last year, a fundraising event benefitting Sudbury for Wounded Warriors raised nearly $20,000. This year the event returns, and event organizers are hoping for similar results.

Tickets are currently available for the second annual Barn Bash, which will take place on Saturday, June 14, at the home of Cara and Arthur Maxwell.

"Survival is not trying to live, but living to try," event organizers said in a press release about the event. "All proceeds from the Barn Bash will go directly to the organizations working on the front lines to ensure that our fellow citizens who have served so valiantly are able to truly survive."

The events organized by Sudbury for Wounded Warriors are geared not just towards raising money, but also for raising awareness to benefit other organizations that provide services to those injured in the line of duty.

Tickets to the Barn Bash cost $100 per guest, and can be purchased by visiting the Sudbury for Wounded Warriors website. Anyone interested in making a donation to the group can do so online as well.

After last year's successful Barn Bash, event organizers are hoping not just to duplicate their efforts, but to surpass them.

"On the heels of this wonderful event, Sudbury for Wounded Warriors would like nothing more than to afford additional folks a chance to see how they can help and in doing so double the donation made last spring," organizers said. "Most importantly we as a community can come together to show our veterans that we truly care not only about what they have done, but what they CAN do. To that end, please join the Sudbury for Wounded Warriors ."
