Former L-S Student Files Suit Against School In Alleged Rape Case

The Massachusetts woman filed a suit on Tuesday naming the district and school officials as defendants.

SUDBURY, MA—A former student at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School filed a lawsuit against the school and its officials over the handling of an alleged rape that occurred at the school when she was 15, according to reports.

The Massachusetts woman filed a civil action that she was sexually assaulted by two boys in November of 2013 during a football game at the school, reports NECN.

In court documents, the plaintiff, identified as Jane Roe, argues that the district didn't take appropriate action against the attackers, or support her, after the incident. Instead, she was allegedly forced to spend her school days in the common area, and the alleged attackers remained in class and ultimately graduated.

The district, Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School Director of Student Services Aida Ramos, Housemaster Leslie Patterson and Superintendent Bella Wong were named as defendants.

In the document, Roe said that her attackers lured her to a field near the football game, where the sexual assault occurred under the bleachers. Texts sent to the attackers from Roe allegedly read, "I resisted...I tried to run away. You both raped me." The boys allegedly pleaded with her to forgive and keep quiet.
