Woman Injured By Falling Tree In Sudbury While Snowblowing
A woman was severely injured by a tree while trying to clear her driveway, according to reports.

SUDBURY, MA—A woman was injured in Sudbury when a tree fell on her while she was snow-blowing her driveway, according to reports.
Speaking to Patch from the hospital on Sunday, Paula Mackenzie said her injuries included a shattered right arm radius bone, a severe laceration of the left arm, a big laceration on her forehead and a tiny fracture in her neck. She also has a fractured sinus, a chipped tooth and a large bruise on the inside of her left thigh.
"I was told my arm was pretty much filleted open, exposing muscles, tendons and nerves," said Mackenzie.

"We responded to a 911 call regarding a tree that had fallen on a resident who was snow blowing her driveway," said Police Chief Scott Nix. "She sustained substantial but non-life threatening injuries. She was transported to Beth Israel hospital by Sudbury Fire paramedics."
The incident happened just after 7 a.m. on Fairbank Circle, her neighbor hearing the screams from the woman who was trapped underneath, reports WCVB-TV.
