
The Metrowest Family Theatre is coming at 3:30 p.m. to the Watertown Free Public Library for a special program with Dorothy and the Scarecrow from the production of "The Wizard of Oz" that begins this weekend at the Arsenal Center for the Arts. Dorothy and the Scarecrow will sing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “If I Only Had a Brain” and read a story. The choreographer will be on hand to teach kids the steps to “Ding Dong the Witch is Dead”. We will provide a short craft, and some books. This program is open to children of all ages. No registration.
Seniors are invited to play RummyKub and other games every Thursday at the Watertown Senior Center, 31 Marshall St.
Folk Arts Center of New England holds a folk dance program on Thursday nights at the First Parish of Watertown 35 Church St. It features mostly request dancing and limited teaching. Prior international folk dance experience is helpful, but many dances can be followed by watching the leaders.
