• Watertown Historian Backs Bill Exonerating People Accused of Witchcraft Prior to Salem Trials (watertownmanews.com) — A Watertown historian is leading a push on Beacon Hill to clear eight people convicted of witchcraft in Massachusetts before the infamous 1692 Salem trials, including two with ties to Watertown. Marilynne Roach, president of the Historical Society of Watertown, recently testified for Bill H-1927, joining a statewide and international effort to formally exonerate these long-ago victims of injustice. 
• Watertown Wrestlers Off to Strong Start in Early Season Dual Meets (watertownmanews.com) — Watertown High’s wrestling team is off to a hot start, winning three of four early dual meets against larger schools. Senior captain Jimmy Shrestha leads the Raiders in points, while a mix of returning upperclassmen and energetic underclassmen are filling key weight classes and keeping Watertown competitive on the mat.
