5 Things: Summer Reading Kickoff Party This Afternoon

What's happening in Watertown.

1. Watertown School Committee is meeting tonight where they will honor retirees from the district, discuss the School Improvement Plans, review the year in sports and make the appointment of the interim Special Education director. In the Council Chambers at 7 p.m. 

2. The Watertown Free Public Library's Summer Reading Program has its kickoff party at 3 p.m. We will have books from the Watertown Public School reading lists available: Let’s Dig Into Reading.

3. The Watertown Planning Board will be hearing the following cases tonight at the Philip Pane Hearing Room, Lower Level of the Town Hall Administration Building at 7 p.m.:
