Fire Strikes Watertown Home, Cause Still Unknown
Firefighters doused the fire quickly, containing it to a wall.

A fire started in the wall of a home on Hawthorne Street Tuesday night, and Watertown firefighters doused it before it spread.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, said Watertown Fire Capt. Stephen Igoe.
"The damage was minimal, but we can't figure out how it got ignited," Igoe said.

The fire started in a wall between a bay window and the ceiling of the cellar, Igoe said. There were not wired in the wall in the area of the fire, however.
The invetigation will continue, Igoe said.
