Watertown Police Log: Police Assaulted in Separate Incidents and More

Arrests
June 3, 6:27 p.m.: Police were called to a domestic incident on Pleasant Street, said Watertown Police Sgt. Thomas Grady. Joseph N. Zompetti, 44, of 541 Main St. in Hudson, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
June 3, 7:30 p.m.: A woman was spotted by security taking a Visio TV off the shelf at Target, put it in a carriage and try to return it for cash, Grady said. Sergina Ysaac, 25, of 10 Perthshire Road in Brighton, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting of more than $100.

June 3, 8:15 p.m.: Police were called to Salisbury Road for a person causing a disturbance and when an officers tried to subdue a the man he struck one of of the officers, Grady said. Michael P. LaRonde, 44, of 67 Salisbury Road in Watertown, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a police officer and disturbing the peace.
June 4, 2:12 p.m.: A man was sleeping on a couch on the side of Arsenal Street and police discovered he had warrants in his name, Grady said. Robert S. Phillips, 59, homeless from Fall River, was arrested on two warrants from Fall River District Court for traffic violations.

June 4, 11:01 p.m.: Police responded to a domestic incident on Belmont Street, Grady said. Scott A Schultz, 44, of 10 Belmont St. Apt. 8 in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.
June 5, 6:06 p.m.: Police were called to Ladd Street for a report of a man violating a restraining order, Grady said. Frank C. Luciano, 18, of 29 Ladd St. in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of violating a restraining order.
June 6, 8:47 p.m.: A man involved in a traffic accident on Main Street at Chapman Street was arrested, Grady said. Tobias A. Cardona, 44, of 42 Prospect St. in Watertown, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license and a warrant from West Roxbury District Court for driving with a suspended licence.
June 7, 1:58 p.m.: Police helped a constable serve a warrant on a Watertown resident, Grady said. Elizabeth A. Kelly-Selke, 46, of 80N Warren St. Apt. 44 in Woburn, was arrested on a warrant from Newton District Court.
June 9, 2:39 a.m.: Police were called to Prentiss Street for a man who would not leave and appeared to be intoxicated, Grady said. When the man would not lower his voice police tried to take him into custody and he struck an officer in the process, Grady said. Lonnell D. Wright, 25, of 22 Concord Ave. in Somerville, was arested on charges of assault and battery on a police officer and disorderly conduct.
Incidents
June 3, 8:36 a.m.: A 2005 Honda Civic was broken into on Grandview Avenue and items in the car were damaged when someone was going through the car, Grady said.
June 3, 4:43 p.m.: A woman eating at Chipotle in the Arsenal Mall left her pocket book behind and when she returned it could not be located, Grady said. The Michael Kors pocket book was worth $300, and contained credit cards and cash.
June 5, 11:41 a.m.: The manager of Bath & Body Works discovered 13 bottles of store brand perfume were missing from a display, worth a total of $383, Grady said.
June 5, 3:57 p.m.: A car parked by the Phillips School had the stem on one of its tires broken, Grady said.
June 7, 1:28 p.m.: A wallet was stolen from a woman's gym bag which she left on the side of a tennis court at the Mount Auburn Club while she was playing a game with friends, Grady said.
June 7, 5:53 p.m.: Two women entered the Sally Beauty Supply store in the Watertown Mall and while one was paying, another took items off a shelf and put them in a bag, Grady said. When an employee asked the woman to remove the items from her bag the pair ran away. Missing were a bottle of shampoo and moisturizing cream.
