5 Things: Wayland's Town Meeting Begins Tonight
A few things you need to know on April 4, 2013, in Wayland.

1. Wayland Town Meeting. It all starts tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Wayland High School Field House. Patch will be there for all the sessions -- no matter how many it takes -- live blogging the action from the town meeting floor.
2. Did You See This? The Wayland Children and Parents Association posted a bunch of photos from its first Pancake Breakfast in the Community Gallery (that's the Wayland Patch Pics & Clips page). Check out the images and upload your own pic from around town to the gallery.
3. Learn About Work of Domestic Violence Roundtable. The Sudbury-Wayland-Lincoln Domestic Violence Roundtable is gearing up for its annual Shower for Shelters drive. It will hold an informational session about its work and the work of its providers.

4. Wayland Reads Poetry. Anchor poems of Wayland Reads Poetry, "Books" by Billy Collins and "Out at Lanesville" by David Ferry, will be discussed this afternoon.
5. Dr. King Assassination. On this date in 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was assassinated while standing on a hotel balcony in Memphis, Tenn. There's more info on History.com.
