2013 Boston Marathon: Times Available for Wayland Runners

Patch is going to keep up with the progress of Wayland's participants, so come back here for your quick and easy-to-find updates.

4:50 p.m. - Following the explosions at the finish line, the Boston Marathon was canceled. The times in the chart below reflect the latest time points we have for each participant.

If you were running the marathon or have heard from Wayland runners in the race, please let us know.

1:50 p.m. - Jane Chitkara has crossed the finish line! She's the first woman from Wayland to do so.

1:20 p.m. - Geoff Getz is the first Wayland runner to cross the finish line with a time of 3:15.14.

Keith Tully is in position to be the next Wayland runner to finish the marathon.

12 p.m. - Rita Jeptoo wins women's Boston Marathon with a time of 2:26.25.

Marblehead native Shalane Flanagan comes in fourth with a time of 2:27.08.

10:42 - The men's wheelchair winner is Hiroyuki Yamamoto from Japan with a time of 1:20.33.

10:30 a.m. - The times are beginning to trickle in. We have Keith Tully's and Geoff Getz's 5K times.

The first women from Wayland, Jane Chitkara and Karen Schliefke, are also on the course.

10:15 a.m. - Wayland's first participants have started the race. Geoff Getz and Keith Tully are on their way. We'll update with times when they start coming in.
