Letter: Downs Has a Track Record of Leadership, Dedication

On April 2, we invite you to join us in voting for Jeanne Downs for Wayland School Committee.

We have known Jeanne for over 20 years, as a neighbor and devoted volunteer for the Wayland community and our schools. Jeanne has a demonstrated a track record of leadership and dedication to our community.  Without a doubt, she is the best candidate for the Wayland School Committee.

Jeanne has the skills and experience to do the job.  Her strong background in financial management and best business practices allows Jeanne to understand and appreciate the delicate balance of maintaining our excellent school system and staying within budget limitations.

Jeanne is devoted to Wayland and our school system.  We all chose to live in Wayland because it is a special place, a community that believes every child should have the chance to succeed.  Jeanne Downs is committed to empowering all of our students.  She wants to be sure we preserve our tradition of enabling every student to have the opportunity to find their passion and succeed.

We believe Jeanne Downs will lead the Wayland Public Schools in the right direction. She will help make certain that Wayland’s schools continue to offer high quality innovative programs with efficient cost management.
