So, anyone missing their pet iguana?
Michael Connors, who works for the town of Wayland doing work in the parks, a few days ago noticed an iguana wandering in the woods.

According to his sister, Tricia Connors, he put out a trap. Today, he caught what looks like a young lizard near the middle school sign on Main Street.
Mike Connors checked with Wayland police, who said they have had no calls about a missing iguana.

So Tricia and Michael Connors asked Patch to get the word out on our website, to see if anyone is missing a pet.
Tricia said the iguana is maybe a foot-long, including a tale. "It looks young, it doesn't look full-grown," she said.
The Connors this afternoon took the young lizard to Petco in Natick, where they say Petco has agreed to take care of him/her for three days. If no one claims him by then, s/he will be put up for adoption.
