Police Seeking Suspect in Indecent Exposure Incident

The following information was provided by the Wayland Police Department. Where charges or arrests are mentioned it does not indicate an arrest.

A 15-year-old Wayland girl was jogging Friday, April 12, when she says a man who wasn't wearing pants pulled up beside her in a car and began trying to talk with her.

The press release says that the incident occurred on Pemberton Road at about 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12. The victim ran to her nearby home when she realized the man wasn't wearing pants and the vehicle, described as a silver Toyota Prius, left the area headed north on Pemberton Road toward West Plain Street. It had a Massachusetts license plate.

Wayland Police are investigating this as a case of indecent exposure and are looking for a clean-cut male with brown or dark-colored hair who is about 25 years old. He was wearing a blue shirt and brown jacket at the time of the incident.

Police are asking that anyone who may have witnessed anything in the area of Pemberton Road at about 4:30 p.m. on April 12 to contact detectives at 508-358-4721.
