The prime weather on Tuesday allowed crews to complete their paving work on the Pelham Island Road bridge as scheduled. According to Pelham Island resident Gary Slep, crews have decided to move the painting of lines on the road to Thursday. That means the bridge will be closed to traffic, weather permitting, from about 7 a.m.-5 p.m. today, April 18. It will be open to traffic, however, on Friday, which was originally scheduled to be the painting day.
