Tree Blocks Route 20, Both Ways, In Wayland

WAYLAND, MA—Route 20 is closed in both directions, according to reports.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said that a tree has fallen across Route 20 at Boston Post Road, blocking routes both eastbound and westbound.

Incidents of downed trees and wires, and other storm damage, have been reported throughout the state, including Wayland. The town, as of 3:45, still had 163 without power out of 5,615, representing 3 percent of customers.
