Sophomore Samantha Abbott pitched seven innings, allowing only four hits and just four earned runs, in the loss to Lincoln-Sudbury. Abbott's 13 strikeouts weren’t enough to offset the six errors made behind her in the field. This game was close throughout, until four runs late in the game sealed the Warriors fate.
The Warriors travel to Acton-Boxborough Monday for a 4 p.m. game.

Boys' Volleyball (submitted by varsity coach Rod Fletcher)
The Warriors boys' volleyball team traveled to Westwood Academy Friday, April 5 for a DCL match.
Despite a slow start in game one, the Warriors, who trailed virtually the entire game, hung around, keeping the score close enough. After a timeout trailing 10-15, the Warriors battled back to take their first lead at 24-23 on a Christian Eng ace serve. They then closed out the game 25-23.
Westwood regrouped, taking a quick 3-0 lead in game 2, and then never looked back behind solid setting and strong outside hitting.
Greg Karpacz and Harry Leavitt played well at the net with Karpacz making a huge stuff block, perhaps one of the best ever according to Coach Rod Fletcher. However, it was not enough and Westwood stormed back and closed out the match 3-1.
The Warriors, now 1-2 on the season, will travel to DCL opponent Cambridge Rindge & Latin on Wednesday, April 10.
