Bicycles Stolen at Fox Hills; Check Fraud Reported

The Bloomfield Township Police Department provided the following information. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.


Two residents in the Fox Hills Condominiums reported bicycles were stolen from the carports sometime over the previous weekend,  according to Bloomfield Township Police Department reports. Officers responded to the 400 and 500 blocks of North Fox Hills Drive on Sept. 28 and met with the residents, who said the bicycles were locked, and that both locks were cut off. 

The thefts reportedly occurred sometime between Sept. 26 and Sept. 28. No suspect information was available and detectives continue to investigate. 

Bad Checks

A business owner in the 6600 block of Telegraph Rd. reported that someone wrote four checks checks on his business account and cashed them at banks throughout the Metro Detroit area, police said. The fraudulent checks were cashed between Sept. 21 and Sept. 30. No suspect information was available.
