Larcenies From Autos, Landscape Trailer in Bloomfield Township

The Bloomfield Township Police Department provided the following information. Arrests, where they are mentioned, do not indicate conviction.

Officers with the Bloomfield Township Police Department investigated a stolen vehicle report and multiple larcenies from autos during the past week. Here are highlights from police reports. 

  • Officers were in the area of Enterprise Court on another call when one officer observed a pile of broken glass outside a business in the 300 block, reports said. The officer went inside the business and determined that a company vehicle was taken sometime overnight on Sept. 12th. The vehicle was described as a silver 2012 Ford Fusion. The report was forwarded to detectives for further investigation.
  • A resident in the 400 block of Eileen Street came to police headquarters to report that his vehicle was broken into on Sept. 16, reports said. Among the  items stolen was a .357 magnum hand gun. Officers inspected the vehicle and concluded there was no forced entry. The investigation is ongoing.
  • The owner of a trailer filled with landscape equipment told police someone broke into it and stole roughly $4,800 worth of items used for mowing lawns while it was parked in the 900 block of Golf Drive on Sept. 16. No suspect information was available, but the investigation is ongoing.
