Register to Vote

Are you ready to have a say in the next election? Monday, Oct. 7 is the final day to register to vote in the Nov. 5 general election. Seats on the Birmingham City Commission Library Board will be decided. To be eligible to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old by election day on Nov. 5, a resident of Michigan and a resident of the city. 'Three Little Pigs' Auditions

St. Dunstan's Theatre in Bloomfield Hills will host auditions for at 7 p.m. Oct. 7.  Check-in at the theater, located at 400 Lone Pine Rd., begins at 6:30 p.m. Roles include: Narrator, female age 20-60; Big Wolf, male/female age 20-60; and Red Riding Hood/Miss Muffet, female age 16-40.


Bloomfield Hills City Commission

The Bloomfield Hills City Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8 at City Hall. Among the agenda items are the purchase of BS&A payroll software, recognition for Building Official Larry Rospierski's retirement, and an amendment to the domestic violence ordinance.


PJ Theater

Join community members for a monthly dose of family fun featuring live theater, puppet shows, authors, illustrators, movies and more at the Bloomfield Township Public Library at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9. Pajamas are encouraged.

Shop at SHE for JARC

Time to get fashionable while helping a good local cause this week as SHE hosts a special event on Thursday, Oct. 10. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., a portion of all sales at the Bloomfield Township boutique will be donated to JARC, which is dedicated to providing support services for families with a child with any disability at home. jewelry designer Mauri Pioppo and Ramy Sharp, designer of the Ramy Brook collection will also visit the boutique.
