All Dearborn City Buildings Closed For Thanksgiving Holiday

The Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 26 will delay the collection of trash, recycling and yard waste by a day.

The Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, Nov. 26 will delay the collection of trash, recycling and yard waste by a day, so that the Thursday trash district will be collected on Friday, Nov. 27. Friday’s trash district will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 28

Loose leaf collection will not take place on Thursday for the Thursday trash district/public service day district. It will resume as normal on Thursday, Dec. 3 for the Thursday trash district/public service day district.

The Dearborn Administrative Center (DAC) and the 19th District Court will be closed for Thanksgiving, Nov. 26 and will remain closed on Friday, Nov. 27.

All three branches of the Dearborn Public Library, which are currently open for curbside pickup only, will be closed on Nov. 26 and 27, and will resume their curbside pickup services on Saturday, Nov. 28.

The Dearborn Ice Skating Center (DISC) and the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center (The Center) are currently closed to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. These facilities will remain closed until at least Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
