Applications open for Early College, DCMST; coming soon for STEM Middle School (dearbornschools.org) — Dearborn families now have a short window to apply for Henry Ford Early College, the Dearborn Center for Math, Science and Technology, and STEM Middle School for next school year. Applications for Early College run through Feb. 6, DCMST through Feb. 27, and STEM Middle School from Jan. 20 to Feb. 9, with eligibility focused on high-achieving students living in the Dearborn Public Schools district.

'He asked for $20:' Alleged Dearborn serial scammer arrested (fox2detroit.com) — Dearborn police say a man has been arrested and charged after a string of alleged parking-lot scams targeting shoppers at places like Fairlane and other local retail centers. Investigators report at least ten incidents in the city, where victims were allegedly asked to send money via apps before having their cash or phone snatched, and more charges may follow.
