Reports say Syracuse University’s Kent Syverud is expected to be the sole candidate, with the vote livestreamed for the public.

Syrian Man Pleads Guilty to Stealing Nearly $191K in U.S. Social Security Benefits (townhall.com) — Federal prosecutors say a man living in Syria admitted stealing nearly $191,000 in his mother’s Social Security benefits that were tied to a Dearborn mailing address. He faces sentencing in April and has agreed to repay the money, after investigators said he concealed that his mother had long lived outside the United States.
