$1M Powerball Ticket Sold In Detroit In Record-Setting Jackpot

It was the third $1 million Powerball​ sold in the Detroit area last week.

DETROIT — A $1 million Powerball was sold in Detroit in Saturday's drawing, which was the second-largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever won, according to the Michigan Lottery.

The ticket matched the five white balls (11, 23, 44, 61, 62) and was purchased online, lottery officials said.

It was the third $1 million Powerball sold in the Detroit area last week. The other two tickets were sold in Detroit and Grosse Pointe.

Two players, one in Missouri and one in Texas, hit the $1.8 billion ($820.6 million cash value) jackpot Saturday. They will split the jackpot.

The last time a jackpot-winning Powerball ticket was sold in Michigan was in 2024, $842 million. It is the largest Powerball prize ever won in Michigan.
