The Goddess of Pop brings her seventh solo tour -- the first in more than a decade -- to Little Caesars Arena.

At the age of 72, the brilliant and fiercely talented Goddess of Pop is still the perfect embodiment of the female sovereignty in a male dominated industry. “What’s your granny doing tonight?” she asks the audience before pacing off to perform the Gayathri Mantra mounted on a huge plastic elephant. That’s Cher for you!

The Here We Go Again Tour kicked off on 21st September, 2018, and will extend well into the winter of 2019, ending on the 1st of November, 2019. She will have a total of 67 shows, 35 of which will be in North America, 18 in Europe and 4 in Oceania.

Her fans were ecstatic when she announced her solo tour after almost a decade of wait. The announcement was made on the Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier in 2018. Cher gained fame in the mid 60’s when she performed as part of a duo with Sonny. Since then, the artist and singer has enjoyed a very successful career, even after she decided to go solo. She has been an active part of the entertainment industry, as we recently saw her in Classic Cher and Mama Mia’s sequel.
The drag queens used to model themselves as Cher in the 1970s. More recently, we see Cher taking inspiration from them as the pop goddess has been in a similar avatar on the stage during her tour. She descended on the stage in a classy bejeweled bodice and a massive orange wig. The fans were delighted to witness a change of hair and costume with each new batch of songs, showing us that she isn’t just a singer, but a great performer who knows how to put on a show and keep her audience captivated and interested throughout. She didn’t shy away from the bottom baring fishnets with suspenders as she sang “If I Could Turn Back Time” and “I Found Someone”, or the flashy striped flares for “The Beat Goes On” and “I Got You Babe”. Her vigor and passion for singing is quite evident in her voice, as we not only see her smile, but here it in her songs too.
