An investigation found multiple violations at the child care center, according to state officials.

DETROIT — A Detroit child care center is in trouble with the state of Michigan.

The Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) said Thursday they have suspended the child care center license of PBA Royal LLC, New Beginnings Child Care and Academy, which is near the Southfield Freeway on the city's west side.

Investigators found multiple violations at the child care center, including failure to provide appropriate care or supervision, failure to cooperate with the investigation and failure to provide accurate and truthful information to the Department.
