Detroit Lions Vs. Seattle Seahawks NFL Playoffs: Everything You Need To Know
The Detroit Lions are looking for their first playoff win in 25 years. The Lions have never won the Super Bowl - as of now.

DETROIT, MI — Detroit Lions fans, start roaring. On Saturday, Jan. 7, the Lions (9-7) take on the Seattle Seahawks (10-5-1) in the wildcard NFL playoff game at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. Beating the Seahawks would give the Lions their first playoff win in 25 years (the last one was Jan. 5, 1992) - and electricity is in the air all over Detroit in anticipation of the monumental game and the possibility of a path to the Super Bowl.
While Lions Coach Jim Caldwell is out prepping the Lions right now, below are a few stats and facts to prep you for Saturday's game:
1. When/where to watch: Kickoff time is Saturday, Jan. 7 at 8:15 p.m. You can tune in via TV (NBC) or radio (WJR-AM 760).

2. If you want to cheer on the Lions up close and personal, then $126 is the going price of a bleacher seat at CenturyLink Field. The priciest seats on the market are $825 a pop in the lower level. Airfare, hotel, and stadium nacho prices not included.
3. The positive thing about not going to the game is that you won't be subject to the ear-splitting noise at the Seahawks' stadium. It's widely considered the home of the loudest crowd noise in the NFL. Screaming Seattle fans AKA '12's' - as though they're the 12th man on the team - are a big factor. Another factor? The sheer design of the stadium. It has a metal, angled roof and concrete bowl seating which bounce sound back towards the center of the stadium - smack dab on the field, making it terribly difficult for opposing teams to hear plays and whistles.

4. Interesting fact: Lions RB Zach Zenner has a good head on those brawny shoulders. Zenner deferred medical school to play in the NFL. He was accepted to the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota.
5. What happened at the last Lions and Seahawks match-up? It was back on Oct. 5, 2015 and the Seahawks edged out the Lions with a 13-10 win.
6. The quarterbacks for both teams have suffered injuries throughout this season. Lions QB Matt Stafford had a dislocated middle finger on his passing hand but is reportedly back in good health. And Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has been plagued by ankle, knee and pectoral injuries from the start of the season, however he also is reportedly back up and running.
7. The Lions are the No. 6 Seed and the Seahawks are No. 3 seed going into the playoffs.
8. What have the last three games looked like? The Lions are on a cold streak and 0-3, while the Seahawks are 2-1.
9. What's the likelihood that the Lions will go all the way to the Super Bowl? One statistics site reports that the Lions have a 3% chance of making the Super Bowl and less than 1% chance of winning it. While those are the probability figures, this is the NFL post-season and anything is possible. All the more firepower to motivate the Lions. Roar!
