SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN — Most of southeastern Michigan is under a flood warning after heavy rainfall Wednesday.
The warning is in effect for Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties until 4 p.m. Thursday.
Forecasters said between 1.5 and 2.75 inches of rain fell Wednesday as waves of thunderstorms rolled through the area.

A WXYZ-TV newscaster said some streets across the area "looked like a river."
More downpours are expected Friday night and into Saturday across southeastern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters said some areas across the region could get more than a 1 inch of rain, adding to local flooding concerns.
High temperatures will hover around 50 degrees over the weekend, according to the weather service.
