Man, 17, Accused Of Multiple Sexual Assaults In Detroit
Wayne County prosecutors have accused a 17-year-old Detroit man with multiple assaults that took place in Detroit over Aug. 4-5.
WAYNE COUNTY, MI — Wayne County prosecutors have accused a 17-year-old Detroit man with multiple assaults that took place in Detroit over Aug. 4-5.
Jaden Deangelo Jones is charged with various felonies, including felonious assault and first- and fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.
“The evidence in these cases are very alarming," Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said. "The defendant’s alleged actions are frightening, and the violence escalating.”

Sexual Assault in the 20200 block of Grand River Avenue
Prosecutors said that around 9 a.m. Aug. 4, Jones sexually assaulted a 41-year-old woman but exposing himself to her in the 20200 block of Grand River Avenue.

Jones was arraigned Aug. 24 on a fourth-degree criminal sexual assault charge in connection with the crime, prosecutors said.
Felonious Assault in the 15700 block of Pierson Street
According to prosecutors, Jones also assaulted a 36-year-old woman Aug. 4 on Pierson Street in Detroit. Prosecutors said Jones approached the woman and made sexual remarks toward them. When the woman told the Jones to leave, prosecutors said, he shot at the victim with a gun but did not hit her.
Jones was charged with felonious assault and arraigned Aug. 20, prosecutors said.
Felonious Assault on Verne Street, near Westmoreland Road
A day later, prosecutors said, Jones approached a 67-year-old woman at gunpoint and tried to rob her as she walked down Verne Street, near Westmoreland Road, in Detroit.
According to prosecutors, Jones followed the woman to her home and groped her. When she got nearer to her home, her husband was outside and Jones ran away, prosecutors said.
Prosecutors said they charged Jones with armed robbery, second-degree criminal sexual conduct, felonious assault and three counts of felony firearm for the incident.
Sexual Assault in the 16600 block of Lahser Road
Prosecutors said Jones around 9:50 p.m. Aug. 5 pulled a weapon and robbed a 43-year-old woman and then sexually assaulted her at gunpoint.
Prosecutors said they charged Jones with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of felonious assault and six counts of felony firearm in connection with the incident.
