Man Who Left Baby At Hospital Sought By Detroit Police

DETROIT, MI — A man who reportedly dropped a baby off at Sinai Grace Hospital Thursday morning is being sought by police, according to reports.

FOX 2 reported that a Black man in his late 40s or early 50s and around 5-foot-10-inches tall pulled up to the hospital and asked another person to hold the baby while he went to park his vehicle around 9:27 a.m. Thursday. The man then drove away from the hospital and did not return, according to reports.

Police told FOX 2 that the child was only a few hours old, and they are concerned for the child's well being.

The man was driving an older Dodge Durango that was silver in color and with a gold-colored hatch.
