METRO DETROIT, MI — A warm-up is headed our way, Metro Detroit. On Friday, temperatures will reach the mid-50s for a spring-like day that will reportedly be warmer than places in Texas, parts of California and Las Vegas.

Rain, mainly after 1pm. High near 44. Breezy, with a southeast wind around 18 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Thursday night
Rain, mainly before 1am. Temperature rising to around 50 by 4am. Breezy, with a south wind 14 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
Friday
A chance of rain before 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature rising to near 52 by 10am, then falling to around 47 during the remainder of the day. South southwest wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
