Michigan Adds 783 New Coronavirus Cases, 13 New Deaths Wednesday
Michigan now has over 108,000 coronavirus cases of the virus and more than 6,500 coronavirus deaths.
MICHIGAN — More than 108,000 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Michigan, according to the most recent data released by state health officials Wednesday.
Michigan added 783 new cases of the coronavirus on Wednesday, bringing the state's coronavirus cases total to 108,595. The state also added 13 new coronavirus deaths, increasing the death toll in Michigan to 6,552.
Michigan had reported 441 new cases on Tuesday, while adding just one new death. More than 80,000 people across the state have recovered from the virus, according to state health data.

Michigan is ranked 18th among states in reported coronavirus cases, according to the World Health Organization. The state is ninth in the nation in reported coronavirus deaths.

Over 6.5 million coronavirus cases have been reported in the U.S. as of Wednesday morning, according to the World Health Organization. That number includes more than 194,000 deaths attributed to the virus, with more than 3.8 million recoveries.
According to the World Health Organization, nearly 28 million cases of the coronavirus have been reported around the world. Worldwide, over 904,000 people have died from the virus and nearly 20 million have recovered.
