Michigan To Get Blanketed With Snow For New Year's Eve
Michigan is getting snow and its accumulating 6-12 inches by New Years in some regions.
MICHIGAN — Bust out the snow shovels and salt for the New Year, Michigan, we are expecting a snowfall to hit.
Luckily in Metro Detroit only a couple inches will stick, but it's half a foot of snow on Lake Michigan and more than a foot in some parts of the Upper Peninsula. Snow showers on Tuesday will end by late afternoon, but not before potentially accumulating an inch or two in the heaviest locations, the National Weather Service predicts.

Snow showers before noon, then rain and snow showers. High near 36. Breezy, with a west wind 18 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
