METRO DETROIT — More rain is expected across the metro Detroit area this weekend just days after waves of thunderstorms dumped record amounts of rain across the region, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday will start dry with mild temperatures in the 50s throughout the aftrnoon hours, making for a fair day at the ballpark for the Tigers opening day game, according to the weather service.
Widespread rain will move back into the area during the nighttime hours after 8 p.m. and linger into Saturday morning, according to the weather service.

The rain will continue across the metro area throughout Saturday when highs again climb into the 50s, according to the weather service.

Rain showers will stick around during the morning hours Sunday, before finally fading away during the afternoon and evening hours, according to the weather service.
Cooler air with rain and snow showers will then move into the metro area to start next week, according to the weather service.
